Summary
Damien lives an average life, working shift work as a security guard and coming home to his beautiful, brilliant fiancee. The hero known as Arrow has a more taxing one, full of crime fighting and even a new nemesis, the mysterious Lily. But when Rilla introduces him to her newest coworker and his thorny field of scientific inquiry, everything Damien loves may end up getting caught in the crossfire.
Rilla knows that her fiance puts himself at risk every day. It’s something she’s come to accept, like he accepts that her work is important. Her newest coworker, the mysterious Dr. Arum Lord, agrees- the work they’re doing is important and he will see it completed no matter what the cost. But Rilla doesn’t realize just how much danger this work may put her in…
Arum is exhausted, driven beyond tired in his quest to save his much-beloved and much-needed Keep. Between nights facing off with a snarky speedster and the fascinating scientist who fills his days, he’s not sure how long he’ll be able to keep his head above water (though he’s certain that with this company, he may be able to bring himself to enjoy drowning). The question he hasn’t thought to ask though: what else may be lurking under the water? -

The Café Nomica was not Starbucks. The chalkboard behind the counter proclaimed this proudly, alongside the drink of the month (the cupid cappuccino). Aubrey had added flame decals. Someone (probably Dani) had added flowers and hearts to the bottom. Duck knew he spent too much time there if he was able to identify employees by chalk art. However, he was also a full-grown adult who did what he liked with his time. Besides, Beacon was a fan of the place. So what if he had a little crush on one of the other regulars? That was nobody's business but his own.

Talfryn seemed to find himself defined as much by the people around him as by anything he's ever done: he's Marc's brother, that scholarship kid, the tall one from the smallest dorm. He was lucky to be at the school at all. Wasn't that enough?
Citadel Secondary was among the most prestigious schools in the country, and proudly one of the most diverse. They had students of many different backgrounds, and even a Muslim principal. If you managed to ignore the thriving old boy's club Principal Mira had done exactly nothing to dispel, and the rampant lack of accessibility in just about every aspect, that was indeed the case. In the real world, though, things were far less cut and dry. -

K-2SO was no fool. He saw the way everyone looked at him. Even among those in the know, he was still wrong, a symbol of everything the rebel alliance stood against. Sometimes, Cassian helps him to forget that.

Chirrut and Eco are new to the area. Bodhi's been helping him to learn to the neighbourhood, but some of the neighbours are much quicker to make themselves known. Certain rather canine neighbours, to be precise.

When Foggy Nelson visits his grandmother he expects quality time spent hand washing dishes, long walks through the cemetery next door and questions about his personal life he isn't prepared to answer. What he doesn't expect? Teenage satanists and unwilling sacrifice to raise... something. Something bad. At once trapped and welcomed, Foggy has only one question: what's next?
