“What are your symptoms? When did this start? You don’t seem feverish, luckily, but does your quirk feel strange at all?”
“My quirk is fine. It’s just a head cold, Izuku.”
Izuku opens his mouth, frowns, closes it. He tips his head to look at him in that particular way he has when he’s analyzing something. Shouto resists the urge to shrink back and hide from it.
After a second, Izuku sits on the couch beside him, taking Shouto’s right hand in both of his.
“Shouto,” he says quietly, “you know I’m here for you, right? We’re partners. I don’t like seeing you like this, I want to help. Please just let me help.”
