Summary
During a routine patrol, Jason and Dick cross paths with a magic user who doesn’t fully control his abilities. The encounter spirals quickly, and Jason takes the full force of the spell.
When the magic settles, Jason isn’t injured but he’s fifteen again.
Physically and mentally reverted, he has no memory of the years that followed not his death, not his resurrection, not the slow and painful road back to some fragile reconciliation with his family.
Dick, already injured, is left managing the fallout. He has to get Jason back to the Batcave without making things worse. But the boy beside him is wary. Dick looks too old. Too unfamiliar. And yet… not entirely.
There’s something about him that feels known, even if Jason can’t place it.
Suspicion wars with instinct.
In the end, Jason agrees to go... reluctantly.
On the way back, Dick contacts Oracle and asks her to warn Bruce before they arrive.
Because the timing couldn’t be worse.
It’s April 27th.
The anniversary of Jason’s death.
And Bruce is about to come face-to-face with a fifteen-year-old Jason who has no memory of dying at all.
