Summary
It is the third decade of the 29th Century, the Star League is long gone and the SLDF is still missing. The Successor States sift through the rubble of the former Terran Hegemony as all the Great Houses look for an advantage over the others. The Inner Sphere is temporarily between wars and the Niops Association hopes not to be noticed by anybody.
Then the Niops Association gets noticed by somebody.
Which eventually results in the Niops Association getting noticed by everybody.
