Roy understood that Jamie was used to playing through pain. Hell, he was, too. Look at his fucking knee, after all. But he wanted better for his sub, and he definitely needed to get it through the lad's head that he'd never be punished for being unable to play.
Unfortunately, sometimes that meant punishing him for other things. And punishments on club grounds meant a teammate could walk in. At least it was Goodman, who seemed to be Jamie's closest actual friend at the club.
