As long as they were being honest with each other, yes. Yes, he missed Louis. It was torture, this having him near again, but not as his lover or his confidant. Louis was so much more removed now. He was all grown up. Lestat had thought that once Louis left Armand, he would run readily back to his arms. But Louis didn’t need Lestat anymore. Not like he used to.
