El avatar finalmente tendría su primera visita oficial a la Nación del Fuego y todo lo que podía hacer Izumi era ver la lista de invitados como si mágicamente apareciera el nombre de Lin en su comitiva o como si ella pudiera materializarse de pronto en el Palacio.
La última vez que la vio fue en esa estúpida reunión de emergencia por causa de Kuvira y todavía podía recordar el odio en sus ojos ante su negativa de pelear.
Fue un poco mejor que la indiferencia con la que la trató el día de la coronación de Wu cuando Lin ni siquiera se dignó a mirarla.
Y no fue nada comparado con el dolor en los ojos de Lin aquella noche en la Isla Ember.
Izumi intenta hacer todo lo posible para no tener arrepentimientos, pero ese... ese siempre sería el mayor de ellos. Ahora tenía que confrontarla, no era igual la incertidumbre cuando las separaba un océano a tenerla bajo su mismo techo, no podía seguir evitándola por su propio bien y el de los demás, sus hijos amarían que pudieran ser civilizadas una con la otra y era Lin por el amor de los espíritus, quizá podrían retomar su amistad.
“O algo más” El pensamiento se le escapó. ¿De verdad podrían intentarlo de nuevo?
