“Hey, sorry to bother you,” Kelly said to get her attention, “but you know there’s a guy back there pretty much staring at you, right?” It wasn’t exactly a normal introduction, but he wanted to check that she was okay and that she’d picked up on the attention she was getting.
“Yeah I know,” she nodded.
“I’m guessing he couldn’t take a hint?” he questioned, motioning at her left hand.
“Nope.” The woman caught his eye and smirked slightly, “Almost makes me wish it was real just so I could see the look on his face.”
