  Summary

  16-year-old Nepheli McDoffery's life had been slow and repetitive up until this year, when a new family moved in to the old house at the end of the street. Rumors spread about the new boy, Bug Angeles, until it was so bad that the children of the neighborhood began to pin every bad event on him. Nepheli, however, never cared much for rumors, he just wanted to hear Bug's side of the story. But how could he when the boy is so mysterious? Always avoiding people and hiding in his house all day. Nepheli was so set on uncovering this mystery that he didn't care if Bug's "bad luck curse" hurt anyone, not until it hurt him. Will he learn Bug's secret or will the consequences be too damaging?
