It was the day for Chan's soulmate marks to appear, and he wanted to be alone for the moment when his soulmate drew or wrote on their skin in return, the way he had done on his abdomen this morning.
He checked the bathroom carefully to make sure he was alone, and then carefully lifted up his t-shirt to check on the words he'd written on his skin.
“Hi! My name is Chan! Nice to meet you, soulmate! What's your name?”
To his crushing disappointment, there was nothing new there except smudging lines on his words from where the sweat started to erase them. He let the shirt slip back down from his fingers.
And then, he felt it.
The inexplicable feeling of something warm and ticklish on his skin.
Of someone writing back to him.
Or: Today is the day that Dino gets to finally find out the identity of his soulmate. He is both surprised and not surprised when he finds out just who the soulmates are- or that he has multiple soulmates, at that.
