Summary
Effie Potter is many things—an orphan stuck with abusive relatives, the twin sister of the Boy-Who-Lived, and even a werewolf, stuck fearing the reactions of her friends and peers if her secret were ever to come out—but she is not stupid. Left to watch on the sidelines as her brother and his two friends face death traps year after year, she knows that there is something Dumbledore isn't saying and things Harry isn't willing to question.
Why had Dumbledore never checked on her and her brother? How come Hagrid was the one to introduce them to the Wizarding World and not another professor? How come the traps for the Sorcerer's Stone consisted of simple tasks seemingly built around the Golden Trio's strengths? How in Merlin's name has Hogwarts not been shut down already?
