Jason blinks once, twice, his throat slippery with panic. He’s not wearing scent patches, he realizes all at once. This whole time— this whole fucking time he’s smelled like knocked up omega and Tim didn’t say anything. He swallows. "No. It’s not any of his fuckin’ business that I am. It’s nobody’s business.”
“You don't have to tell me,” Tim says, looking caught between guilty and surprised and something else that Jason thinks might be a little hostile. “I won’t tell him.”
A pause.
“Or Dick.”
A series of vignettes, of sorts. Jason Todd— dirty, toothy, vindictive— can’t quite figure out how something as small and fragile and helpless as a fetus has taken root inside of his vile uterus.

At once, Duncan felt his pulse quickening. He could not believe what his ears were listening to.
“Prince,” the knight echoed mockingly. “You mean the smug cunt of the Red Keep.”
For a second, he saw red and felt the anger crawl up his nerves. His hand curled around the pommel of his sword. He imagined crossing the distance in three strides and one fist in the first man’s collar, the other driving into his teeth, then smashing the second’s nose against the wall until he choked on his own blood. It would be easy, he thought, before realizing then what? Two knights assaulted by the Captain of the City Watch. The rumors would spread quick. Soon, Aerion’s name would be dragged further through mud because Duncan could not master himself.
Duncan overhears something he was never meant to hear, and Aerion risks everything to protect both his honor and their family. It results in a hurried retreat and a birth that comes sooner than anyone expected.
