It's September 1963, and the world's first school for Mutants — the Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters — has just opened its doors. By the end of the school year, the Mutant Registration Act will be law, half the faculty and students will be gone, and everyone will have to choose between their ideals and the practical demands of a world spinning out of control. Welcome to the class of '64. Hope you survive the experience.
My own personal spin on the X-Men origin story. An AU that incorporates elements and remixes plotlines from the movieverse and various comics continuities. No prior knowledge of canon required.
