Summary
Set after The Long Game
A few years after Shane has joined the Ottawa Centaurs, captained by his husband, he does a Wired Autocomplete Interview where he accidentally gives away a few shocking facts that hockey fans had not been privy to prior to that point (including, perhaps, what went down during his fight with Scott Hunter all those years ago and maybe also that he and Ilya had been seeing each other for a lot longer than most people expected) and then he has to learn to deal with the internet storm that followed, along with some annoying reactions from friends and family.
Including: lots of teasing, lame jokes, cursing, viral tweets, trending hashtags and one exasperated Shane Hollander.

Jax can’t decide if it’s annoying or cute how much Hayden is stressing over some arbitrary title. “This is what you woke me up before six for?” he grumbles.

Hayden’s look of pity(?) only increased. “Oh buddy. Of course you wouldn’t see what’s going on. Why would you? You always think the best of your family.”
“Just answer the question.” Shane was too drained to figure out what Hayden was getting at.
“I’m so sorry, Shane, but Ilya Rozanov was seducing your mother.”
