"Have you ever thought about forever? What it means?" Katsuki asks.
"Forever?" Shouto mimics, intrigued, when Katsuki looks up at him with big crimson eyes burning like molten lava. He looks dreamily up at Shouto, as if Shouto were an angel.
"I never thought about forever or even bothered to look for a future beyond being the number one hero. But, Shouto, when I look at you, I see forever in your eyes." Katsuki grins, and Shouto chokes on air, his breath stuck in his lungs. "I want to be with you forever, if you will have me."
Or; Katsuki gets affected by a quirk that makes him gullible and everyone loves him. Especially Shouto.

"It's quiet out here," Todoroki said after a few minutes, his voice barely audible over the wind. He had taken a few bites, not much, but enough.
"Yeah," Bakugou said. "Better than the circus downstairs."
Todoroki leaned his head back against the wall, his eyes closing. He looked incredibly fragile, but the tension in his jaw had finally begun to bleed away. "I didn't think anyone would...I thought everyone was just waiting for me to be okay again."
"Yeah? Well, sometimes they are dumbasses," Bakugou muttered, though his tone was unusually soft. "You don't have to be 'okay' to sit out here. You just have to be here."
Or; Touya passes away in the middle of Shouto's third year in UA. Katsuki is a good friend and tries to help him out.
