Summary
“What are the statistics?” Camila asked just before Beatrice had to leave to return to her class.
“What statistics?” Dora questioned, a little confused.
“The statistics on missing persons cases that have Bea so worried.”
Beatrice looked back at where they had walked from the Director’s office, for no apparent reason, perhaps just thinking about how to answer the question she had been asked or how to avoid answering it.
“In ninety-nine out of every hundred cases, the missing child is with a family member or close acquaintance,” Beatrice declared with a defeated attitude, avoiding eye contact with her friends.
“And the other one?” Dora interrogated, getting only a few long seconds of silence in response.
“Bea...” Camila pressed.

Summary
~So, what kind of information do you need?~
“Information?” repeated Beatrice slightly confused.
~No offense, but the most likely reason to contact me after all these years is if you need something from me.~
“I don’t need you to give me information; actually, I want to make you an offer.”
~In that case, I’m listening.~
“I have a profiling position with the FBI BAU and it’s yours if you want it.”

Summary
Camila had been attracted to many people throughout her life, men, women, and every other kind of person, but Lilith was a bit outside of her usual parameters; she usually dated artists, mostly cheerful and outgoing, though she also dated a couple of brooding and dark ones on simpler levels.
However, Lilith had a more mysterious, dark and distant aura than most people Camila had met throughout her life, which did not match the stories Beatrice had told her nor the interactions the British-accented agent has had with her best friend during the day up to that point, a kind and protective attitude.
Besides, Camila also didn’t believe that Ava, who had such a cheerful and outgoing attitude, with such a string stance and ideals could get along with someone who was everything Lilith showed herself to be on the outside.
That was what was now attracting Camila like a moth to a fire...

Summary
The short distance between the two allowed Camila to see a brunette girl with a light skin tone and brown eyes who had messy hair and her cheeks flushed from all the exertion of the match, in addition to her heavy and accelerated breathing.
Most people’s general definition of sexy was surely far from what the girl in front of her looked like at the moment, but Camila was sure that she was the sexiest thing she had ever seen in her life.[Serendepia: a fortunate, valuable and unexpected discovery or find that occurs accidentally or by chance.]

Summary
“Listen, we don’t have to lose the good old ways between demons and humans, so if we add a soul to this deal you could get everything you want.”
“Don’t do it, Mary” Ava interrupted. “You can’t give her your soul.”
“Don’t worry, I’m not interested in her soul” the demon woman commented, referring to Mary. “I want her...”
Camila felt a shiver run through her entire body, at every nerve ending, as the tall woman with mesmerizing eyes met her gaze again while pointing at her with a small smile on her lips.
