“Why haven't you seen a doctor yet?”
“So he can tell me that I’m going to die? No way." Joshua huffed a humourless laugh. “I just don’t know how to tell Seokmin. We are finally married, and everything was going so well, and now I’m maybe seriously sick?” His eyes were full with worry, and Jeonghan felt really bad for his friend as he could only watch how this situation eats him up.
Because of the emotional stress Joshua suddenly got hungry and turned around to get himself a toast and spread it with plenty of butter. To go with it, he opened a jar of pickles and nervously nibbled at it.
Jeonghan watched the whole scene unfold in front of him.
“Wait a minute...” He looked at his friend with furrowed brows. “Have you been eating stuff like that all along?”
Joshua nodded. “Have been for a while now, yes… Another strange thing about me nowadays.” He was on the edge of crying, and then Jeonghan understood.
A smile spread on his handsome face, and he stated. “Honey, you’re not going to die.”
“What do you mean?” Joshua sniffled and looked at him questioningly.
Jeonghan laughed and walked over to hug Joshua. “You’re pregnant! That’s what’s wrong with you.”
