Summary
Months after the terrorist attack the Red Ring and Shroud perpetrated, everything seems to be returning to normal at SDN. Robert Robertson III now finds himself adjusting to his new position as both dispatcher and Mecha Man, working the Z-team while Mandy adjusts to life without powers.
When an intrusion at one of Vanderstenk’s research facilities turns out to be the work of an infamous thief, Robert and the Phoenix squad find themselves facing an opponent unlike any they've encountered before. Fast, elusive, and dangerously charismatic, Remy LeBeau, also known as Gambit, has succeeded in getting under the skin of not only SDN, but also those who know what he looks like. As Robert tries to discern the thief's true intentions and identity, he finds himself wondering what it is that Gambit could possibly want with Vanderstenks research.

Summary
Shortly before the beginning of Robert Robertson’s hiring, Cole MacGrath has already become a controversial figure after the Manhattan disaster, with many people blaming him for the Ray Sphere explosion that devastated the city and awakened his electrical abilities. The rumors eventually reach Shroud, who decides Cole is more useful alive than hunted. Instead of attacking him, Shroud approaches with a deal, claiming he has access to experimental research that could suppress or even remove Cole’s powers entirely.
In exchange, Shroud wants Cole to infiltrate the Superhero Dispatch Network in Los Angeles and report back on how the organization operates. It means working inside the same system that coordinates heroes across the city, including people like Blonde Blazer, the leader of SDN’s Torrance branch who oversees operations and recruits new talent into the network. For Cole, the offer means lying to a room full of heroes, but the chance to finally be free from the power that ruined his life is enough to make him take the risk.

Summary
After Shroud’s defeat and capture by Robert Robertson III, he’s reinstated as a Dispatcher, operating under the supervision of Blonde Blazer. The days of Mecha Man are mostly behind him as he only suits up when the mission demands it. He and Invisigal have formed a close friendship, and maybe more. Together, they navigate a fragile peace that feels one bad call away from collapse.
Meanwhile, the Superhero Dispatch Network finally tracks down Bigby Wolfe, an infamous ex-detective turned fugitive werewolf. Instead of prison, they offer him a deal: work for the Z Team under Robertson’s command in California. Bitter, tired, and out of options, Bigby accepts. But as new threats rise and SDN fractures from within, the lines between man and monster begin to blur.
