𝐑𝐀𝐄𝐋𝐘𝐍𝐍 𝐌𝐈𝐓𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐋𝐋-𝐆Ü𝐍𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑 grew up in Vancouver, learning to skate almost as soon as she could walk. Hockey was her life, shared with her twin brother, Micah, and the boy next door, Fraser Minten.
Everything changed when she was 17. Her parents announced they were moving to St. Paul, Minnesota—tomorrow. Raelynn spent her last night in Vancouver with Fraser at their favorite spot before leaving everything behind.
Years later, Raelynn is a standout player at St. Cloud State. Despite her talent, a costly mistake earns her an indefinite suspension and damages her reputation.
Meanwhile, Fraser is beginning his NHL career with the Boston Bruins. While in Minnesota for a game against the Wild, he sees a post about Raelynn's suspension. Unable to stop thinking about it, he reaches out for the first time in years.
They reconnect, and soon come up with a plan: a fake relationship to help repair Raelynn's image. Once the public sees she isn't the violent player the media portrays her as, they'll break up.
Simple.
