Summary
Lyney has been so busy trying to get things back to normal since he and Lynette proved their innocence that he hasn't had much time to keep up with Aether, even after they sorted out the potential sore spots between them. That is, until he runs into Aether at the Navia line aquabus. Much to Lyney's surprise, Aether invites him to come look at some of the areas he's been investigating under the Fontaine sea. There may be some clues as to what the prophecy foretelling Fontaine's next great flood in them, after all.
(This will follow the events of the Fontaine world quests Aqueous Tidemarks, The Narzissenkreuz Adventure Team, and Ancient Colors, but as more of an aftermath of Aether having already gone through the events of the quest lines on his own. Still, spoilers ahead.)

Summary
Nahida asks Aether to take the Wanderer with him as he travels through Sumeru's desert region, much to Aether's discomfort, and the Wanderer's intrigue. Thus begins what will surely be the most uncomfortable few weeks of Aether's life as he babysits the Wanderer while trying to get some actual exploration done. Paimon is also there, sort of.

And it’s— okay. Eiland can explain. Sure, he’s not exactly innocent. He’s touched himself before. Sure, he’s found old collections of erotica stashed away in the library. Sure, he stumbled upon some particularly unique filth between a dragon and the princess they held hostage as a teenager. Sure, maybe that single novel has haunted him ever since and maybe he’s gone out of his way to pursue further stories of its like. For research.
And sure, maybe it’s followed him into his dreams before. But never with Caldarus. Never with the guardian of Mistria, revered as a near deity. That’s blasphemous! It’s disgusting!
It’s making his legs shake as Caldarus looks up at him with sharp, knowing eyes.
Here be dragons. Eiland sleeps on the farm to study the statue of Caldarus and ends up having a rather strange dream.
