When he becomes a leading character in the anonymous letters, well, he gets a little more curious. Lance becomes determined to unveil the writer and find out a) what is his problem exactly and b) does he really think Lance's eyes are that blue?
A tale in which Lance is oblivious and pining for the hot nerd in the back of his Greek mythology class, Keith can wield a pen with deadly cruelty, and you, dear readers, suffer from the pains of dramatic irony.

“Well why don’t you just waterbend heal me? Swish swash, two minutes, all better!” he proposes.
“Sokka, I just told you we can’t rush this. Do you want me to mess up your head?”
“Well you’ve never had any problem hitting me in the head with water before now!"
After waking up from a training accident with no memory of the past seven years, Sokka is desperate for answers. But any wrongly triggered memory could risk permanent brain injury. No one will answer his questions about his new life. No one will talk about whatever weird thing is going on between him and Zuko.

Summary
Riven does something that he very much does not want to talk about, thank you very much! He would have preferred to not have done it at all, but life or death situations don't really care about his other issues!
But... people respecting his boundaries while offering support might be enough to get him to open up a little and begin to work on something he's been putting off for over ten years. Especially when a certain friend has a unique perspective.

“A Talerian space flu, I suppose,” Coran replied, chipper as ever.
“Wait,” Pidge took a few steps away from Lance, their arms held out in defense and eyes wide, “it’s not contagious is it?”
“Not to worry!” Coran quickly placated, arms folding behind his back. “It only spreads through very specific means. We don’t need to worry about quarantining or anything of the sort!”
“Oh thank god,” Lance sighed breathlessly, once again leaning heavily on Keith next to him.
Or: Lance contracts a virus from a recently allied planet and Keith struggles to keep his distance from him. He wants to care for his boyfriend, but their relationship is still a secret. Good thing it’s not contagious though, right?
