There is a house that sits on a bluff, facing the Pacific Ocean. Its walls are a dull red, faded by both time and the salt air. It is a lonesome figure, silent and looming, abandoned by those who once loved it, and by those who promised to never depart.
It is a house that longs for the days when its windows were illuminated, silhouettes visible as they walk back and forth throughout its bones.
