Showalter had shot him a smile as bright as the sun. “Anything and everything,” the boy had answered back.
Griffin had looked up at that, his eyes moving from the paper he was writing on to Showalter’s open face. “Anything and everything?”
Showalter’s smile shifted into something softer and Griffin tried not to think very hard about that. The boy had only hummed in response.
Griffin hadn’t pushed further and Showalter hadn’t told him.

Lamina was listening but at the same time wondering how this kid could talk so much without taking a breath for so long. The kid was talking about all kinds of things and to Lamina it seemed like he didn't even breathed in between his words.
It reminded her strangely of Coral when she went on some of her rants about someone new she hated, wanting to get all her reasons and comments out of her system as they all sat at their usual table in the cafeteria.

That was the first thought that came into Robin’s mind when he first shot someone.
It was loud.
Robin was sixteen when he first killed a person.
He didn’t regret it ofcourse, the man was a monster.
No, it was the fact that he just killed another human being and Robin knew it wasn’t going to be the last. Even though he felt horrible after, he couldn’t forget what a thrill it gave him when he shot the guy, to stand there and take aim. It felt good to take this tiny piece of evil and remove it from the earth.
He now had control.
