It's true, he's losing a bit of sleep. And yeah, he's having a hard time relaxing. And sure, anytime Luigi isn't near him, his heart races, and his brain tries to convince him that his brother is hurt, or lost, or dying.
But it's fine. As long as Luigi is always by his side, then everything is fine.
Mario is fine.

As Zoey watched Rumi’s retreating form and heard the quiet thunk of her door shutting in the distance, she lasted a few minutes helping Mira pick up before something in the air changed. It was like heavy clouds descending after a bright, sunny day, and the maknae suddenly found herself tearing up as the emotions of the morning and the past few days truly caught up to her.
Mira, of course, noticed immediately. She set down the cups she was holding and paced forward to touch Zoey’s arm, brows knitted in worry. “Whoa, are you okay, Zo?”
It hit like a flood then, a dam breaking after too long holding back pressure. Zoey stumbled forward and collapsed into Mira’s arms with a hiccupping sob, hot tears streaming down her cheeks. “…We almost lost her,” she whispered, her voice cracking with horror and heartbreak. “Oh God, we almost lost our Rumi.”
