Summary
Clarke is fourteen when her father discovers the breach in the air filtration. Fifteen when he takes her and escapes the Ark, trying to reach the Ground. When they crash, Jake is killed in the landing, and Clarke is discovered by a Commander-in-training. She grows to love the Trigadakru, but when her people come to the Ground, and are struggling to survive- and with the pressing issue of the Mountain Men growing- Clarke is forced to choose between her family and those who saved her.
