   Burning of the Past reads like something that could take place right after the end of Ultraviolet (1998), which everyone should watch as this too short series is currently available on Tubi, young Jack Davenport was brilliant and beautiful as Michael, a main character. Stephen Moyer from True Blood guest stars as Jack, whose presence is felt throughout even though he only appears first and last episode -- I feel like he would have been around more had there been a second season because the subtext between Michael and Jake was heavy. This fic feels like a scene in the 2x1 episode we never got.
