Summary
It was a feather. A really filthy-looking feather - broken and bent, but still wide and about as long as her hand. It was too big to belong to a seagull, and it didn’t make any sense for it to be here, in the middle of the precinct. Ella picked it up, oddly compelled despite the old blood caked on it.
