   Summary

   Izuku’s head felt sticky as he lifted it, trying to make sense of his surroundings. As he took in the dust in the air, the twisted tomb of concrete and metal around him, he remembered. The train had been rougher than normal. It had clattered into the station – wheels shrieking against the tracks as something went wrong. The lights had cut and there had been a horrific flash of heat and then –

   - then he’d woken up in a tiny air pocket in the rubble.
