The wait was dulled. Roxy only wanted to think about Zoey. Even though she was embarassed by her dam breaking tantrum. Is it nice to finally get a hug. Especially since she was avoiding Zoey for so long.
She can only see everyone looking at her with pity and worry. But all she can feel from Zoey was understanding. Knowing about her plight of trying to make a more confident version of herself. Which was reversed for her now. Roxy thought.
Though the ride didn't last long. Since they were close and that was when Roxy couldn't hide anymore. In the building was going to be what was going to happen next. She didn't realize she was just staring at the building. Until Zoey nudges her.
"You don't have to go in yet." Pointing out another option.
"There's a park." Roxy noticed, playing along. Not ready for the questions & changes through the doors.
Zoey grins, that Roxy had taken the Olive Branch. She could tell the ex yellow ranger hasn't had peace. Something to do with being evoxed. She wasn't sure, at least glad Roxy hadn't run away again.
The park is close, but far enough. It eases both of their minds. Leaving the situation behind.
Roxy could almost not hear the voice of her avatar. She could actually feel herself smile, slightly. It was just two girls in a park.
They ended up at the swings. Eventually either girl is not sure what else to say. Or how to say what lies back at Grid Battleforce.
Zoey's the first to leap in. "I miss you. I havn't seen you since.."
A growl wants to come out, but you force it down. Instead roxy manages something slightly better, at least from the growl. Interrupting the yellow ranger. You blush, as something hatches from within. Finally revealing itself, at Zoey's words.
Even if it's Zoey, you don't want the peace with her. You craved, but instead you say. "Since what i left." Sharply, almost with hate to it.
Zoey's taken a few minutes. On how different Roxy just acted. They were content, when suddenly Roxy was angry. She should be angry as well, but really it makes her even more concerned. She was almost like...
"Something happened from Evox, didn't it?" Grabbing Roxy's hands, pleading. The dam of the past weeks cracking.
"You've been gone from grid battleforce ever since. Avoiding everyone." The me, left unsaid. "Only penpaling through Blaze." Some anger, leaking into the concern.
What Zoey don't expect was Roxy, to reverse their grip. Squeezing her hands tightly.
Finally Roxy says something. "Let's just say it was complicated honey." Her tone fond, but different entirely. Not the Roxy she knew, but the avatar again. Was she back?
Zoey leaps back, suprised. "Your back? How is the real Roxy still there?" Urgently, and afraid standing up, ready to fight if needed. Yanking her arms back. Trusting her gut somehow it wasn't her Roxy anymore, but the avatar instead.
"No no, i'm me." Avatar Roxy, gets amused, and confusing as ever. Hands up, approaching her. As she was a wild animal, which Zoey supposed it was. Almost like one of their battles, blushing.
"I mean it." Hands itching for her blaster to appear. Backing away, until she hits a surface. Now the avatar figured she looked like a scared animal now. The rabbit, she was infused with.
No one knows what happened. Zoey had fired, sending the avatar back finally. Zoey could almost swear, something was different. If the panic wasn't happening right now.
Then it seems like the actual Roxy is back, even more freaked than she was. From whatever happened.
"I.." Roxy was trying to say, but whatever she was gonna say. Was lost in a sound familar to them. Screaming.
