Kathryn Janeway looks exasperatedly at her mother Gretchen smiles"
"Its good to have you back Katie"
"Its good the be here mom"
"Katie, Mom"
"Phoebe? I thought you said she would be coming today"
"You know Phoebe"
"I know Phoebe"
"MOM, KATHRYN"
"We're in the garden Phoebe"
"MO- oh there you are, hi Katie"
"Hello Phoebe"
Kathryn grins at her sister, Phoebe walks down the steps and hugs first Gretchen then Kathryn
"so Katie when's that gorgeous first officer of yours arriving?"
"Phoebe! Ok first of all he's not my first officer second he's a captain"
"Oh your no fun"
"Phoebe!"
"Okay okay"
Gretchen watches this exchange amused. A pink hover car draws up outside the huge farmhouse
"Kathryn Tom and B'Elanna are here"
"Hmm? Oh"
Kathryn waves at the hover car Miral jumps out and starts toddling across the lawn towards Kathryn
"Anni Ka'frin anni Ka'frin"
''Hello sweetheart"
Miral launches herself into Kathryn's arms, shrieking and giggling. She spots Phoebe and cries
"Anni Phoebe!"
Kathryn turns as Tom gives her a gentle hug
"Good to see you Kathryn"
"And you Tom"
Kathryn smiles and gently releases herself from Tom's arms then hugs B'Elanna
"Good to see you B'E"
"Likewise Kathryn"
"So whats all this mystery about Kathryn?"
Phoebe turns to face them
"Yes Katie what's this about?"
Kathryn grins at her mother
"Ill tell you when everyone arrives"
"And who is everyone?"
"Well Tom lets see, everyone is the... ENTIRE CREW. Well except Mortimer Harren and Icheb
Tom laughs
" Ok so 140 - 4 = 136"
"One hundred, thirty five Tom"
"What? Who just arrived?"
"Chakotay"
Kathryn spins around as Chakotay materializes a few feet behind her and flings herself at him. He catches her surprised
"its um good to see you too Kathryn
Kathryn blushing slightly lets go of him he smiles Dow at her and kisses her on the cheek. She blushes even more. Then gets knocked to the side as Phoebe grabs Chakotay and squeezes the stuffing out of him
"Phoebe!"
Snaps Kathryn and her mother at the same time. Phoebe grins and lets go of Chakotay who tugs on his earlobe. Phoebe grins at her sister
"See that wasn't too hard"
"Phoebe!"
Gretchen scolds then smiles
"No more embarrassing your sister understand?"
"Yes mom"
Tom fails to hide a snort at Phoebe's innocent look
"Oh something you would like to add Mr Paris"
"No ma'am"
" good"
"Kathryn may I ask how you managed to get everyone here? Last time I heard Seven was in the gamma Quadrant Harry was on Betazed and the rest of them are"
"Sometimes being an admiral and a celebrity means you can get stuff done"
Everyone smiles just as Seven materializes in the duck pond. Phoebe and Kathryn run to help a wet, shocked seven out of the pond
"Seven are you ok?"
"I believe I am functioning within normal parameters"
"Kathryn shall we?"
"Yes"
Phoebe and Kathryn both smile at Seven
"Come on Seven we'll find you something dry to put on"
"I will comply"
"Mom, Chakotay your in charge"
"Aye admiral"
"Mom tell people to transport onto the lawn"
"Yes dear"
"Kathryn can I come with you we need to talk"
"Yes we need to talk but not now I need you to keep or ex-crew under control. We'll talk later ok?"
"Yes your right "
Kathryn smiles
"Thank you Chakotay"
"Come on Kathryn"
"I'm coming Phoebe"
Kathryn runs to catch Phoebe and seven. They lead seven up to Phoebe's bedroom
"Right lets get you out of that catsuit first put this on"
Phoebe hands Seven a super-fluffy pink bathrobe
"I will comply"
"And stop saying that"
Seven looks amused, disgruntled and outraged at the same time. Kathryn laughs
"Don't worry Seven Phoebe's the female version of Tom Paris"
"computer play selection Phoebe six"
a song only Phoebe recognizes Plays on her stereo
"This is.... interesting"
"Katy Perry"
"Right seven"
Says Kathryn having missed this entire exchange stands up
"How about this?"
Kathryn holds out a pair of black denim shorts and a crop top with a Patten of marigolds on. Complete with a matching belt
"That will be adequate"
Seven smiles slightly
"Good now put these on in the bathroom"
Seven nods and leaves
"Now let's get you out of that admirals coat Kathryn"
"Remind me what I did to deserve this"
Phoebe laughs and grabs an outfit for her sister
"Right put this on"
"Okaaay?"
Kathryn pulls off her admirals coat and puts on a skirt that just covers her thighs and a matching short sleeved crop top both look like they are made out of hundreds of tiny bright pink flowers
"That's better now you don't look like an admiral. Come here"
Looking slightly apprehensive Kathryn sits in front of Phoebe. Phoebe unties Kathryn's hair so it falls around her face, and orders her sister to:
"Shake"
Then runs a silver tool over the ends. Kathryn's hair grows rapidly down to her waist
"Whyon earth did you cut it in the first place anyway Kathryn I loved your beautiful long hair but I do like your style now and why-"
"Phoebe"
Kathryn smiles and turns to face Phoebe as Seven comes in
"Seven you look lovely"
"Thank you captain your outfit is very... Flattering"
"Thank you Seven. And you can call me Kathryn"
"Very well, Kathryn"
"Come here Seven"
"Phoebe don't do anything drastic, I'm going to find you some shoes Seven"
"Ok don't take too long I want to do your make up"
Kathryn nods and walks out of Phoebe's bedroom and across the hall into her room and over to her mini replicator
"One pair of black slip-on sandals, size six"
They appear in the slot Kathryn scoops them up and walks back to Phoebe's bedroom
"Here you are seven. How on earth did seven get you hair down?"
"Thank you cap- Kathryn your sister is very talented"
Kathryn smiles
"Speaking of Phoebe where is she?"
"Here"
"Pheebs didn't you want me?"
"Yes"
She points to the chair in front of her dressing table
"Sit"
Kathryn looks indignant
"Don't you-"
"You will comply"
"Kathryn laughs"
"Very well Pheebs"
Kathryn sits next to Phoebe's easel
"Nope you have to face me"
Someone gently knocks on the door and pushes it open
"Its ok you can come in Chakotay"
Chakotay walks in looking astonished, amused, indignant, confused and shy
"Phoebe"
Kathryn says warningly
"What?"
"Don't worry Kathryn, Phoebe your mother sent me up to tell you to 'turn that damn music down' and get your butt down there you to Kathryn. You look lovely Kathryn you too seven"
Phoebe laughs
"Okay, okay no need to explode Chakotay"
Chakotay laughs
"I'm just passing on the message I'll go"
"No Chakotay you can stay we'll be done in a minute"
Chakotay sits on the bed
"Ok"
Phoebe puts the finishing touches to Kathryn's make-up. Pink lipstick that matches her dress and pale green eyeshadow
"There you go Katie"
"Thank you Pheebs"
Kathryn turns to face Chakotay and tucks her hair behind her ears with there pink flower earrings and smiles, cocking her hip and putting a hand on it. Chakotay grins at her
"Well, do I pass captains inspection?"
"Definitely Kathryn you look gorgeous. You look lovely to seven"
Seven smiles at them both. Kathryn feeling bold grabs Chakotay's hand, he seems surprised but pleased and weaves his fingers with hers as she pulls him through the door
"About half the crew had arrived when I came to get you "
"Good good"
"Oh Sam and Naomi are here and I left your mother talking to Q-"
"You did what!?"
"I le-"
"No no no no no you. Left. Mom. Talking. To. Q!"
"Yes she said she could handle him"
Kathryn snorts
"I suppose if anyone can handle Q its mom"
Kathryn, Chakotay, Phoebe and Seven arrive at the group Kathryn immediately runs over to her mother won is chatting to Qjunior
"Q!"
"Ah aunt Kathy how are you?"
"I-"
You look lovely by the way
"Yo-"
"I assure you I am here as a member of you crew"
Kathryn relaxes slightly
"Well I suppose you can stay but no shenanigans understand?"
"Yes aunt Kathy"
Q looks suitably docile
"Kathryn be gentle with him"
"Don't worry Mrs Janeway I'm sure q can look after himself"
Kathryn laughs and Icheb appears a few meters away Qjr waves
"Hay Icheb"
"Q"
"One thing you can do Q"
"Yes aunt Kathy?"
"Is everyone here?"
"Yes"
"Good"
Kathryn clears her throat and stands on a chair
"Can everyone hear me?"
."Yes admiral"
Comes the call from the back. Kathryn takes a deep breath
"Nervous"
Whispers Chakotay
"Terrified"
"Stop flirting you two"
Calls Phoebe
"Phoebe!"
Yells Kathryn
"Don't hit your sister Kathryn"
"Wasn't going to mom"
The blue shimmer of a transport stops her
Q? I thought you said everyone was here?"
"I did you only asked about the crew"
Kathryn sighs just as Chakotay gaps
"Sekaya!"
