Jasmine Uraraka was loved in her kingdom, being a princess had many jobs in her life but the kingdom was proud to know that the Uraraka kingdom was in good hands with there next queen, she cared about her people, the servants were more then happy to be summoned to her side to do a task, guards fought one another to guard her when she goes out and even the gods foresaw great fortune on the kingdom once she was crowned queen.
But her parents, the king and queen laughed at the gods with what they did next…
When Ochako was born, the kingdom was happy to see her, but when she turned four was when they hated her, there people glared at her each time she appeared and then left when she was about to speak, servants would play rock, paper, scissors to see who would go see her and guards never wanted to be at her side when she goes out… needless to say when the king and queen announced that Ochako would be there queen on her sixth birthday when Jasmine was twelve, the kingdom went on a rampage at the fact they would ignore the gods words about the two princess’ and their fates in life.
Jasmine was destined to be there queen who would make the kingdom blossom greatly in power, beauty, produce and many other things that will make their kingdom popular to visit… while Ochako was to never rule… or destruction and death will follow the kingdom she rules… and the king and queen decided to ignore those words of the gods still and celebrate when Ochako was fifteen and Jasmine was eighteen over the fact that Ochako will rule there kingdom which was against what the gods said for them to do… while Jasmine was to travel across the sea to the Bakugo kingdom when she would marry the prince of the kingdom to form an alliance between their kingdoms.
It made Jasmine wonder if she did something wrong…
And so Jasmine boarded the Bakugo ship with Eijiro Kirishima, a guard that the prince selected to escort Jasmine to the kingdom with only the little she could snatch of her room before Ochako rushed in to claim everything as her’s… even though Jasmine’s clothes was bigger than Ochako wears, Eijiro greeted her with a warm smile as he helped her onto the ship, he did notice how her parents and sister didn’t come to bid her farewell or anything and noticed the sad look she had as her people cried at the fact she was leaving them… something was going on with the Uraraka kingdom and he didn’t like it one bit, he watched the girl with long dark brown hair that was braided swinging in the wind as her dark brown eyes behind her purple glasses looked towards the ocean, even her sky blue dress with a beautiful white embroidery of dragonflies made it look like she was a goddess with how the rays of the sun kissed her skin at the moment.
Three days have passed since they have been on the waters and Eijiro saw how much the crew loved the princess, she would help cleaning the ship early in the morning so the crew didn’t grow tired for too long, she brought out things to make things easier for them, counted what they had to make sure they had enough of everything until they arrived on land and even helped with the prep work and cooking meals when it was time to eat… some of the crew believed she was bless by the gods and Eiji noticed the sad look she hid from everyone when that was said about her… something was up and he needed to find out what it was soon enough, he decided to report this to the prince once he arrives at the castle with the princess, that night as Jasmine slept, Eijiro noticed that they would arrive in the morning… but he also saw the very little she brought with her that told him something was wrong with the Uraraka kingdom.
The next day, Jasmine woke up to a knock from someone in the crew “Were almost at the land of the Bakugo kingdom” he said before walking off to work, Jasmine got dressed in one of the few dresses she had with her that she didn’t wear yet before walking out to meet with Eijiro, the guard smiled as a greeting before pointing towards the land that was slowly coming into view with a beautiful castle “That’s the Bakugo kingdom, well known for its battle strength and the dragon’s that we ride on for wars to win” he explained making her look at him in surprise to his words, he chuckled as he pointed towards something in the air “You might not see it but that’s prince Katsuki riding Hanta… a dragon like me” he explained making her look at him confused as she looked him over making him chuckle with the promise of showing her at another time.
Once they got to the land, they got the plank to get off the ship secured before the crew began to take out the equipment and her things, after a while Eijiro helped her off the ship, once they got a little away from the ship, they were greeted by a female knight with pink hair and golden eyes… but instead of white the conjunctiva of her eyes was black, she introduced herself as Mina and explained that the prince had an important meeting to attend so she came to bring Jasmine to her room to settle before lunch comes around, she guided the princess to the castle while Eijiro went to see Katsuki at the meeting to give him a report, this was something the prince requested from Eiji once he returns with Jasmine, of course he was certain that Katsuki won’t keep his end of the deal in making an alliance between the Bakugo and Uraraka kingdoms once he finds out what his guard had to say.
When Katsuki was born, the gods proclaimed that Katsuki would be a powerful king that would help the kingdom be known for it’s power and feared by any kingdom that dared to cause a war on there kingdom, when he was getting close to the age to marry the gods spoke once more about a kingdom that ignored there words and decided to crown there cursed second child as the ruler of there kingdom… leaving there oldest who was to rule to suffer, if no kingdom reached out to propose something in exchange of marriage to the first daughter… then she would be executed on false charges that the king and queen will claim… Katsuki spoke behind closed doors to the gods for a while, no one knows what was said at all but once he walked out he wrote a letter to the Uraraka kingdom for an alliance in exchange of marrying their first daughter.
As a result, Jasmine was spared from death and was pushed to leave for the Bakugo kingdom while her parents and Ochako prepared to celebrate the fact that she was gone, Eijiro didn’t know much of this though, he was only tasked to bring princess Jasmine Uraraka to the Bakugo kingdom and to observe her and what she brought… even ask her some questions so to help him to know a little about her for when they meet for the first time, he walked in the halls of the castle until he arrived to the main meeting room where Katsuki would meet people for reports, he knocked three times before he was told to enter, he walked in to find the prince at his usual seat with his other guards, Denki Kaminari a blonde thunder dragon who is known to bring fear in those who try to harm the children of the kingdom, Hanta Sero a binding dragon who kids love to play with, Hitoshi Shinso who is a mental dragon who the enemy often fear he is seen on the battle field, Kyoka Jiro a sound dragon who is often playing during celebrations with her talent in music and Shoto Todoroki a ice and fire dragon, he was breeded by his father to be the perfect dragon to destroy the Bakugo family and take the kingdom… only for him to be executed after Shoto told queen Mitsuki and king Masaru of his father’s plans, even after working his way up to be by the princes side he has not once shifted to his dragon form.
A little ways from the prince was king Mirio Togata of the Togata kingdom, his parents passed away at different times, his mother died to an illness while his father died for a victory to a war, next was prince Neito of the Monoma kingdom, he was a stubborn prince who always wanted more… the gods didn’t even visit when he was born for he was a waste, this caused many surrounding kingdoms to not want to work with the Monoma kingdom but the Bakugo kingdom has worked with them for centuries and would not stop now unless Neito doesn’t change his ways for the better, there was also princess Momo of the Yaoyorozu kingdom who had at first desired to marry into the Bakugo kingdom but was rejected each time by the prince.
Originally prince Tenya of the Ida kingdom was to come but something happened that made him unable to come, so it was only the four kingdoms, Eijiro walked over to Katsuki’s side and whispered his report on the princess, he simply nodded and had Kyoka lean in to be given instructions, she nodded once and then left the room, during this time Mina brought Jasmine to the baths where she was going to be washed from the sea air before being taken to her room to be dressed before lunch, Jasmine nodded and got undressed before wrapping into a towel and meeting Toru Hagakure, a servant at the castle with short and curly chartreuse and pink hair pinned up and teal and yellow eyes, she was given the task to care for Jasmine at all times and so has prepared a bath for her and selected what she was to wear for lunch, the princess watched as Toru poured in a few drops of a liquid into the water that she called scented oil.
Toru explained that the prince uses these from time to time depending on his mood, and so has prepared her a basket of these oils for her to try in her bath, she slowly got in as Toru collected to her side what she needed to clean the princess, she began by scrubbing her hair down, Jasmine’s hair was very long and suggested that she cut’s it, Jasmine promised to think about it and so Toru went to wash her body, she was gentle of course and explained that once she was married she wouldn’t need her to take care of her body… this told Jasmine that this would be her husband’s task, once she was clean, Toru had her leave the bath to be wrapped into a robe and brought to her room, Toru explained that as the servants were unpacking her things… they discovered that it was all so poorly packed that her clothes had torn and her jewelry snapped in a few places… but claimed it looked like someone did it.
So when the prince was informed he ordered for her to get a new wardrobe so it was currently being worked on “But for now here is the dress I had prepared for you” Toru explained making Jasmine nod as the servant brought out a beautiful red dress with a gorgeous golden dragon embroidery going from the left bottom side of the dress to wrapping at the waist, the dress was to her feet however it had a cut on the right side so small steps weren’t her only option when she walks, Toru the had her hair tied up in a beautiful braided bun before doing her make-up lightly and then nodded “Your ready” she said with a smile as she then guided the princess to the dining hall for lunch, Jasmine noticed she was alone which was fine to her at the moment really.
Toru pulled back a chair for her, she gracefully took it and waited until a tall man with brown hair and black eyes walked over to her side “I am the head chef Rikido Sato. I welcome you to the Bakugo kingdom and hope you enjoy what I have prepared” Rikido introduced himself with a short bow making her smile, she nodded as he then quickly walked back into the kitchen before quickly coming back out as other servants began to bring out the food, Rikido explained each dish making the princess wonder what she should have, once the servants and Rikido left, she turned to Toru asking her if there were dishes that weren’t spicy or strong in spices, Toru made a mental note to report this to Rikido and Katsuki before nodding and began to put on a plate small portions on foods she believed the Uraraka princess will like.
As she set the plate before Jasmine, two new figures walked in and took their seats at the chairs meant for the king and queen, the queen was gorgeous with her short blonde hair and red eyes… she thought the woman was a goddess actually if not for the faint golden scales on her body and the horns on her head, the man beside her looked human as he had brown hair and matching eyes behind his glasses, the queen looked at her and smiled “You must be Jasmine of the Uraraka kingdom? The one the god praised since she was conceived, correct?” the queen asked making Jasmine nod, from what she was told by the head servants, the moment she was forming slowly within her mother, the gods spoke of her, selected her name and claimed she would be a great blessing to the lands around them.
As she grew up, the gods brought her gifts and special blessings like being able to heal others with a single touch, understanding all languages and animals around her she can even summon a god who blessed her with their names… meanwhile, Ochako got nothing, only being told that any land she rules will be cursed by her and it was ignored by her parents as she was sent away to another fate then her own, Toru presented them as queen Mitsuki the ruler of the Bakugo kingdom and her husband king Masaru the human she chose to marry, from what Toru told Jasmine during her bath to help pass the time, the dragons are actually the people of the kingdom and human’s slowly began to move in to live with them. However due to the fact that the dragons were known for having second genders, humans couldn’t be with them due to the alpha knot, so alchemists prepared a brew for the humans to take if they desire to be with a dragon, and since the prince is a dragon Jasmine will need to take the brew if they were to try and conceive children.
Toru explained that the small brown cup to her left was the brew, they allowed Jasmine to drink it when she was ready but she had to eat something first, she was promised that nothing strange would happen after she drinks it but the princess was still a little nervous, she didn’t know what the prince looked like or what he was like, heck she didn’t even know why she was asked to marry him out of the many princess in other kingdoms, at that moment the prince walked in and all Jasmine could think was that he too was blessed by the gods, Katsuki looked like his mother with his blonde hair that was growing long enough for him to tie and then his sharp red eyes, he wore pants and boots, a belt around his pants and a red furred cape on his shoulders with no shirt… and many necklaces were around his neck of all colors, shapes and sizes.
The prince sat down as Mitsuki presented him to Jasmine as Katsuki Bakugo, Jasmine nodded as the prince began picking the spicier foods, she waited until they began to eat to do the same, the food was amazing, maybe even better then what she had in her kingdom what Toru served her was amazing and it made her wonder what else they make that was this good, as they ate, her eyes landed on the brown cup beside her, should she drink it? She wasn’t sure about that… she still wondered why her of all people, Toru was at the door watching the princess, it was obvious that she wasn’t sure on drinking from the cup right now, she thought about trying to give her the option to ask for it when she was ready when to her surprise the princess took hold of the cup and drank the content of the cup.
Toru smiled towards the princess and looked up to see that neither the king or the queen saw this… then her eyes widen as she saw that the prince was watching Jasmine the whole time with a faint loving smile, this was the first time she saw such a smile so this was a big thing to her, Toru wondered why he was looking at the princess that way but decided to focus on her job for now, once the king and queen were done eating, they were quickly asked at a meeting with someone from another land and while they had both wanted to talk to Jasmine while having dessert they had work to do, this left Jasmine with there son, but with the fact she was far from him, it wasn’t like she needed to talk to him or anything, Rikido walked over and served them a slice of cheesecake each to enjoy before going back to the kitchen to clean “How are you doing so far?” she looked up to see that the prince was watching her and waiting for her answer.
She blinked twice before speaking “I couldn’t say much due to the fact that I haven’t seen much since I have arrived” she explained making him nod, he knew that asking her such a question was a waste as she would need to learn more “I’ll have a guard or two take you around tomorrow so you can get used to your new home” he explained making her nod in understanding as she finished eating her cake so she could then leave for her room with Toru, once they were gone Kyoka came over “Did you find anything?” he asked making her nod “The clothes for the princess are all in her room ready for her to wear, the jewelry is taking longer but should be ready by tomorrow morning, shoes and other items will be in her room during diner” she explained making him nod “And what of her family? What is the report?” he asked making her nod “It would seem that they are preparing to celebrate her leave now that her sister Ochako will be able to become queen” she explained making him fist his fork without destroying it.
When Jasmine arrived to her room, it was with a look of surprise to the many dresses set for her to wear at any time, she was amazed by there styles and colors… much better than her other dresses “Toru?” she asked making the servant look at her with a nod “The bag that held what I wore during the ride to get here? Get rid of the content… I won’t be wearing anything I had” she said making Toru nod and collect the clothes, jewelry and shoes to be thrown away, she slowly sat down by the window to look outside to see her new home from her room, she could see some of the towns people walking around with smiles on there faces as they worked or spoke to one another, but while she could tell things were better here… she missed her home.
A knock on the door made her stand and take a few steps forward “Come in” she said as Eijiro came in with a smile which to her surprised was with red scales and horns “The prince thought that taking you around our home would be too boring as you wait for tomorrow to come so I was tasked to show you around the castle so you know your way around” he explained making the princess nod to his words as they then left her room. He showed her to the library and where the king, the queen and the prince sleep “This room right here is still being worked on… but to put it simply, this room is the room you and Katsuki will reside in once your married” he explained making her nod in understanding as he showed her more.
Without her knowing, Katsuki was watching, after he left the dining hall to meet with his parents, his mother gave him an earful for not showing himself to her “She needs to know! I’m sure she knows you’re a dragon… but not what you look like” she had said to him which was true since why else would she have been given the brew if she didn’t know? Even so he wanted to wait until they could meet closer and not while eating, he just wanted to do this right, so he wanted to wait for now, he was actually going to his office when he heard Eijiro and then saw him showing Jasmine around the castle making him smile as he watched her looking around and listen to his guard talking before, they got moving once more.
After a while, Eijiro promised to get her when it was time for diner making her smile as she went into her room to rest until then, she looked over the bookshelf she had in the room and decided to look over the books there and try to read one of them, after picking one that looked foreign to her, she sat down by the table in her room to read as she waits for Eijiro to come get her, as she was into the book by a few chapters there was a knock on the door before it opened, she looked up to find Eijiro there with a smile making her smile in return as she followed him to the dining hall where the king, the queen and Katsuki were already seated… but Katsuki looked different.
Black and orange scales were on his body like Eijiro and Mitsuki and horns much like his mother’s, she could tell now that he was also a dragon, she sat down closer to them this time… more then likely so they could speak to her a little better then before, moments later food was brought out on plates for each of them already, Jasmine noticed her meal was different from them but she decided to ignore it for now and simply enjoy the food with the Bakugo’s, as they ate a guard walked in to speak to the prince about something, he quietly nodded and spoke to them and moments later walked away from them, at first she was curious but then remembered that this wasn’t her business and went back to eating “I was informed that you were able to see around the castle today” she looked up to the king Masaru who spoke making her smile and nod “That’s right, I don’t think it will be long before I know my way around the castle too” she explained making him smile and nod to her words.
Katsuki listened to his parent’s speaking to his future wife… making his hidden tail twitch, he could also bring out his wings but worried that Jasmine wouldn’t be able to handle it all in one day, so the scales and horns would be for now and next time he will show more “I’ll have two of my guards take you out to the market tomorrow… you might find something new that you like” he said making her look up and then nod to his kind words. He faintly blushed when she smiled to him before going back to speaking to his parents… well her future in-laws, he thought about taking her tomorrow but he had work so his guards will need to take his place for now. His parent’s once again left first leaving them alone, he was certain that they were doing this on purpose so they can get closer… or maybe so he can reveal himself “Your blessed by the gods… like me right?” he looked to find Jasmine looking at her dessert as she spoke, so she wasn’t beating around the bush huh?
“That’s right” he said simply “I got blessed by the gods. I also got informed about your destiny and the fate your parents were planning… so I saved you” he explained only to look up to her as she slammed her fork down in anger. Did he make her mad? She looked upset, but she was quiet “I lost my appetite” she said before standing and leaving the dining hall, he groaned once she was gone… he screwed up, didn’t he? Why else would she be upset? It was his fault and once his mother finds out she’s going to yell and he’s going to need to fix it. Jasmine had her back on her door as she quietly cried, why else would her parents be happy to send her off? Of course, now they won’t have to face their kingdom executing them for killing the one person they wanted to be ruled by! So, they agree to marry her to the Bakugo kingdom for an alliance between there kingdoms, it was obvious they wanted to get rid of her so now they didn’t have to get their hands dirty and it made her sick.
A gentle wind blew into her room, she looked up to find a beautiful little bird by her window, with its beautiful sunset-colored feathers made her smile “Hello little one” she said softly as she walked closer, the bird didn’t move from its spot, simply tilted its head towards her while quietly singing “What are you doing over here?” she then asked as the bird then began a beautiful song for her. Did the gods, send her this bird? It would make sense since they did see she was sad about what she was told by the prince, she smiled softly as she listened to the bird sing to her before she decided to read once more the book she was reading earlier. Katsuki during this time, was pacing in his room, he still couldn’t believe how badly he screwed up just now! She hates him that has to be it “She does not hate you” he turned to find a god in his room, it wasn’t anything new, sometimes the gods simply came to him to speak “How do you know that?” he asked as the god smiled “She is simply upset over the belief of her parents having ideas on other ways for her to leave their lands” he explained.
Katsuki’s eyes widen, so that was it? He simply misunderstood? Now it made sense, he sighed in relief at the good news but he still worried about something “Do you know what her reaction will be to the true me?” he asked making the god nod “You need not worry young prince, she will accept you with ease” he said before leaving the room, this made him smile, he then turned to his desk that held a box, it was something he had prepared for Jasmine before she arrived. He knew that the winter season is worse then in the Uraraka kingdom and the last thing he want’s is for his future wife to get sick from the cold, the cloak he had prepared for her was a raspberry red with a gorgeous golden embroidery design, he got the whole design blessed by the gods to protect her from harm of any kind if she was separated at some point from him or anyone really.
There was a dragon which is the symbol of his kingdom with symbols of their dead language, now it was well a dead language that no one used, but it still had a strong meaning in there kingdom even if not often used anymore. He smiled at the final results of the thing and he hoped she enjoys using it during the winter, he picked up the box and left the room quickly enough so to not be asked questions and to get to her room to deliver it, it didn’t take him long to arrive before her room as he gently knocked. Jasmine looked up to her door at the sound of the knocking, the bird had stopped singing a while ago and flew off so she was alone now, she wasn’t very certain on answering or not but then took a deep breath and moved to answer the door.
She answers the door to find Katsuki holding a box, she was actually confused at the reason for him being there at her room but allowed him to speak “This is for you, the winter is colder then in your kingdom” he explained making her take the box and walk to her desk, she set’s it down as she looks over to the prince who is watching her from outside her room, she tilts her head as sign for him to enter so he nods and moves closer to her side “I designed it myself, and got every symbol blessed” he said simply. She was a little confused until she opened the box to reveal the amazing cloak inside, she was amazed at how soft it felt in her hands as she held it, when she turned it to see it’s back, she could see the faint glow that confirmed the gods blessed it, she faintly smiled towards it before turning to look at the prince “It’s beautiful, thank you so much Katsuki” she said making him smile in return to her kind words, he was happy, she loved the gift, so now he had to finish the rest.
He actually had two more cloaks for her, one for spring and one for autumn, he does hope she likes them once there both done, he also had clothes that he was working on for certain events… he’s just worried she’s going to reject everything, anything could happen now, she could at any point refuse to be with him and he would need to accept that fact “When will the wedding happen?” he looked up in surprise to her question “My parent’s will want to know were married soon” she further explained, Katsuki was surprised to her words “She is telling the truth. If you are not married her parent’s will come here for answers” a god whispered to his mind, he couldn’t believe it, couldn’t they just bond first and then plan there wedding? He thought about this for a moment “Can you try to stall them? If they plan to come here for answers on our wedding? I want her to adjust and ask her properly to marry me” he explained to the god who chuckled faintly.
“Of course,” the god spoke to him “We will keep watch over them and if it some point in time they bring your kingdom or the marriage into the subject… you will be informed and we will but a stop to them coming here” he said before leaving them, Katsuki took note that Jasmine was tracing the design on the cloak before touching the fur around the hood of the piece of clothing “It’s really beautiful… did you make it?” she asked as she turned to him. He smiled towards her, he could feel that things were going to be amazing between them soon enough… but for now she still needed time to adjust to all of this “I’ll leave you be since it’s getting late” he said as he headed for the door, once he was gone and, in his room, he thought about Eijiro and Mina who she already knew… but it might be better for her to meet Shoto since he did plan on her having her own guards and he wanted her to get familiar with his.
Jasmine watched Katsuki close the door to her room before turning back to her cloak, it was so nice and warm… she was going to be fine while wearing this during the winters here in the Bakugo kingdom she was just certain of it, putting it down, she went to take a bath with Toru’s help, as her hair and body was cared for, she thought about the dragon she saw… will she meet more of them? She just might so she should be ready for it tomorrow. Once clean and dressed, she went back to her room and got into her bed for the night, she wasn’t all that sure if things will go well for her but she hoped for the best… she really didn’t want to go back and possibly be killed.
