   Summary

   The ‘War to End All Wars’ ends almost nothing. In the wake of treaties and trials Naruto Uzumaki sets himself on a journey to the Hidden Sand Village ostensibly to see the Hokage’s wishes done. Truthfully he’s hunting a scroll and a past he’s more than a little ambivalent about: the refugees and the traitors of the Hidden Whirlpool are heading home to make good on old promises. Some intend to keep those promises with peace, others with old knowledge Uzumaki Mito herself honed from white stone. Either way, Naruto is one of the few left alive who can handle it. Even if he doesn’t want to.
