Summary
The Minor House of Nerussa demands recognition and respect; their diplomatic ties and unlimited coffers are certain to give them the status of Great House in Morrowind, provided they do one more thing... marry its only heiress, Gwynileth Nerussa, to a member of another Great House. And her parents have chosen the one who abused her.
Frightened and despairing, Gwynileth flees from Morrowind to Skyrim, chasing ideals of happiness and simplicity. What she finds is more than expected: and they came in the forms of a man with unknown origins and amber eyes, an Imperial intent on discovering secrets of the Dwemer, and a Khajiit who wants nothing more than to be a friend and a hero.

It is likely the darkest story I've yet written (not dead dove, though), so please be mindful of this!
