“Such a clear sky, it’s been a while.” Passenger said while looking up.
“You’re right. It’s a good day. It’s fortunate that we chose to do this today.”
Rhodes Island were going to hold a small party to celebrate their latest negotiation success. Next week they gonna be busy with the new program, so everybody decided to do a barbecue outside today.
Doctor was given a task to buy some stuffs that ran out or forgotten to be purchased before. Passenger voluntarily offered to accompany her, so the other just let the two of them went to the nearest market and handle everything.
“Huh... where did I put the grocery list from gummy?” Bleu patted down her jacket and rummaged through her small bag. “Oh no, did I lose it? We have come too far to go back.”
Passenger laughed. “Don’t worry Doctor. It might be in your pocket somewhere. Even if it’s not, I also have a copy here, don’t worry.” Passenger took out a piece of folded paper from one of his pocket.
“Oh... okay. That’s good.” Bleu smiled in relieve.
Passenger took Bleu’s hand in his and started walking again. Bleu was surprised of his action but didn’t say anything and just let him grasp her hand. They didn’t say much, but they enjoyed the short trip to the market.
When they walk back to Rhodes Island, Passenger hold all the goods they bought in one hand while the other hand was holding Bleu’s hand once again.
“Need help?” Bleu asked. Honestly Passenger doesn’t have to carry everything by himself. Bleu could help with some stuffs, but that long-haired man refused to let Bleu carry anything.
“No. You have something more important in your hand after all, Doctor.”
“Huh? You mean this?” Bleu hold up their connected hands.
“That also important. But there is other thing.”
“Huh? What?” Bleu asked in confusion. She was empty handed.
Passenger smile before answering. “My heart. You have my heart in your hands, since the first time you show me kindness and trusting me to become you assistant. You always have my heart, my soul, my loyalty, and my love in your hands. Please be gentle with it.”
Bleu couldn’t say anything. She felt so warm and bubbly inside. Her heart was beating so fast that it felt like it could burst any time. Bleu hope Passenger wouldn’t be able to feel her heart beat from their connected hands.
They keep walking with Bleu refusing to look at Passenger’s eyes. But Passenger just smiled and squeezed the small hand in his hand. And in no time, they are back in Rhodes Island.
Passenger finally let go of Bleu’s hand.
“I will put this at the kitchen. See you in a bit Doctor.” Passenger patted the top of Bleu’s hair and walked away. But Bleu pulled the Passenger’s clothes to hold him from going.
“What is it Doctor?”
“I...” Bleu’s face was blushing hard right now, and if it wasn’t because Bleu disliked him attacking her in open space where people could see, Passenger would already kiss that cute face already.
“I will take care of your heart and treasure it well. So please take care of me as well in the future.” Bleu said in a soft voice.
Well, that’s if. I don’t care anymore.
Despite being in the open where anyone could walk in anytime, Passenger kissed Bleu softly, dropping the grocery and spilling the content everywhere.
“That’s what you get for riling me up Doctor Bleu. The next time you do that, I will not stop with just kisses.”
Bleu nodded quickly and squatted down to collect the scattering items. Mentally taking notes to always mind her words from now on.
That was dangerous, for sure.
