Chapter Text
How did this happen?
After the dagger was stabbed in his heart, unbeknowest to him, everyone in the whole continent watched it. He really didn't mean for this to happen. Luckily, the kids' view was blocked by his hyung-nim. He felt bad, but he thought that they would get over it after scolding him for a little bit.
However, when he went outside the temple, hand clutching his heart that was still in pain, he saw some vicious looking faces that made him feel as if he was prey.
He gulped his saliva and hiccuped when he saw his father's vicious looking despaired expression. He tried to smile, so that they would 'hopefully' be more assured. It wasn't that big of a deal. He knows that he should've told them.
But they would've never let him go if they knew. They have been acting a little bit possessive these days.
So much that Cale was sure that if he ever got hurt one more time, they would lock him up in a palace. And it may seem like an ideal slacker life, but a slacker life has to be one that is not locked up against his wills. He has his conditions for a slacker life.
His smile, to everyone, seemed like someone who was trying to hide their pain. When Alberu saw this, he swore that he would speak to everyone about how to make sure this little brother of his stays safe.
"Human, your bleeding!"
The mightly dragon flew towards him with tears. His human did everything on his own and shunned everyone away. He didn't let anyone help him, and everyone knows that it's because he didn't want them to get hurt.
"You cannot die! I will lock you up and destroy the world!"
Cale sighed, clutching his chest harder. He glanced at everyone. His father's face that looked at him as if he's grounded, the vicious assassin duo holding their dagger and sword, the black-haired swordsmaster who was spilling his dark aura everywhere, the golden dragon who subconciously activated dragon fear, Mary who stood ominously still and silent (Cale could feel some kind of death aura coming out of her), his hyung, who unlike his usual smile was glaring at him.
Cale shivered. Feeling that something was off from his usual getting hurt.
Hell, even the children were looking quite vicious!
"I'm fine-"
"This unlucky bastard."
"He's so stupid, nya!"
"He doesn't deserve this, nya'"
Everyone made some kind of vicious comments. Cale sweardropped. Something was wrong, seriously. He cant get this feeling off his chest.
"Cale-nim.." Ah, found the source of the problem.
Clopeh Sekka, who has his hands clapped together.
The green-eyed male opened his mouth to say something only to be kicked by Choi Han.
"Cale-nim, your bleeding." Well, obviously.
Choi Han came closer to the red-head. He inspected his bloody shirt and frowned. "I'm fine." He really was fine. He felt refreshed even. The dagger really did help. The only problem is, he keeps on bleeding and he looks like he's about to die any moment.
Before he could even say anything, Choi Han swept him up from his feet, carrying him in his arms.
Alberu signalled the others with his eyes and the others secretly nodded. Cale being the dense person he was, didn't notice this silent interaction.
Maybe he should've payed attention.
