Xie Lian slowly wakes to the feeling of someone staring at him. He blinks his eyes open, squinting in the early morning light.
Yin Yu flushes and looks away.
“You can kiss me if you want,” Xie Lian says, filter lost somewhere in dreamland.
“Is that okay?” Yin Yu asks nervously, glancing over at Hua Cheng, curled up on Xie Lian’s other side. “I know it was okay last night, but…”
“Listen to gege,” Hua Cheng’s muffled voice rumbles against Xie Lian’s neck. Xie Lian shivers in pleasure at the vibrations.
Yin Yu still looks hesitant, but he leans close, and Xie Lian tips his head up, closing his eyes.
Cold lips press against his, and then retreat.
“Yin Yu,” Xie Lian complains, opening his eyes.
Yin Yu looks surprised.
“More?” Xie Lian asks hopefully, and Yin Yu leans back in, but he doesn’t quite let their lips touch.
Xie Lian wraps an arm around him and tugs him closer.
“Okay,” Yin Yu says, laughing a little, and presses their lips together once more.
Slowly, the kiss deepens, and Xie Lian lets himself relax into the bed under Yin Yu’s weight. Skin slides against skin, all of them still naked from the night before, and Xie Lian revels in the feeling of it.
And then Yin Yu pulls back, and Hua Cheng lifts his head.
“My turn,” he says, and Xie Lian eagerly turns to greet him.
“Good morning, San Lang,” he says, smiling.
“Good morning, gege,” Hua Cheng says, smiling back, and captures Xie Lian’s lips in a kiss of his own.
Xie Lian opens his mouth when Hua Cheng prompts him, and when his husband licks his way inside he lets out a small, satisfied noise.
But he doesn’t want Yin Yu to feel left out, so he pulls away before too long. “San Lang,” he says, nodding towards his friend.
Hua Cheng looks up at Yin Yu. “Come here,” he says, and Yin Yu does, leaning across Xie Lian.
Xie Lian rests a hand on Yin Yu’s back, and watches him freeze, unsure. “You can kiss him too,” he says gently. Perhaps Hua Cheng’s body language is only obvious to him. “He wants you to.”
When Hua Cheng nods, Yin Yu looks relieved, but he still hesitates before leaning forward, bracing himself awkwardly, and brushing a kiss onto Hua Cheng’s lips.
Hua Cheng cups a hand around the back of his neck, pulls him forward, and brings their mouths together in a far deeper kiss.
“There you go,” Xie Lian laughs, stroking up and down Yin Yu’s back. He watches his husband kiss his friend, and smiles, glad that they’ve finally figured this out.
Eventually, Yin Yu pulls back, and Hua Cheng lets him.
“I should go,” Yin Yu says, sounding nervous.
“I’m sure your duties can wait a little longer,” Xie Lian says, squirming around until his back is pressed up against Hua Cheng’s front. He holds out his arms. “It’s barely morning.”
Yin Yu glances behind him, but apparently whatever expression Hua Cheng is making is reassuring, because he nods. “Okay,” he says. “Just a little longer.”
They settle into each other, Xie Lian pressed between two cold, comforting bodies. He feels his friend relax in his arms, and tugs him a little closer.
Yin Yu deserves to rest, sometimes.
