Summary
Wei Wuxian presents as an omega just over a month after they arrive for the Cloud Recesses lectures.
The thing is... no one expected him to actually be an omega, and his presentation is, in a word, messy. Feral omegas aren't natural, not as far as those in power are concerned, and they certainly aren't meant to cultivate alongside alphas and betas.
They definitely aren't supposed to form a fractured bond with an alpha like Lan Wangji, who does not handle the situation well in the moment, and is then forced to watch the aftermath his actions cause. Meanwhile, Wei Wuxian struggles to come to terms with what it means to be an omega, and how it feels to be rejected by the only person your soul has ever cried out for.

Summary
Wei Wuxian had figured out a while ago that Jiang Shushu and Madam Yu didn’t actually pay attention to him. Or either of their other kids for that matter. As far as he could tell, in Madam Yu and Jiang Shushu’s eyes there was a Jiang Yanli, a Jiang Cheng, and a Wei Wuxian— but it was pretty clear that they hadn’t put names to faces and weren’t ever going to.
Or: in which Madam Yu and Jiang Fengmian are slightly more neglectful than canon, this fixes everything.
Oh and also Jiang Yanli, Jiang Cheng, and Wei Wuxian are completely convinced that they look identical and switch places at will. Jin Zixuan just wants to know why his finance is three different people and why no one else seems to notice.

Summary

Everyone assumes Xie Lian had died in the fire which took the life of everyone he held dear. Until an unexpected encounter with Xie Lian’s cousin changes everything.

Summary
Wei Wuxian sends a picture of his takeout food to Nie Huaisang as ordered, and waits. He gets a short audio file back, it’s just a few seconds long. A message follows: use headphones!
He writes back: what’s that supposed to be?
NHS: just listen!
WWX: fine! gosh…
He scrambles from the couch in pursuit of his headphones, and finds them beside his empty hamper. Right. I’m also supposed to do the laundry. Well, that can wait until after I’ve eaten.
He gets back on the couch, pulls the headphones on, and connects them to his phone.
NHS: don’t forget your food
Wei Wuxian shakes his head, but takes the container, and hits play.
First there is some sort of deep hum like a sigh. “You are … such a good boy!”
Wei Wuxian yelps and nearly drops the food container into his lap. His fingers fumble to turn off the audio. “Fuck! Fuckfuckfuck!” There was more, but he didn’t hear it over the racing of his heart in his ears.
What the hell?!
