Summary
Obi-Wan Kenobi is a busy Coruscant attorney who needs to take on a case "pro bono"--or, for free-- by the end of the year to make partner at his prestigious law firm and fulfill an important promise he made long, long ago. When his best friend's wife, Padme, informs him that she has a friend in need of legal help, he expects the work to be relatively easy.
What he doesn't expect is that the case involves his childhood sweetheart, Satine Kryze, who needs help saving her small town Christmas tree farm from Maul, an attorney representing a mysterious corporation that wants her land to build commercial property.
With tensions high, will Obi-Wan be able to rekindle his relationship with Satine and save her Christmas tree farm or, once his pro bono requirement is finished, will he choose his career, the promotion, and the big city once again? And what about that mysterious promise he made long ago?
