Summary
Mirai has always been the sidekick, second to All Might, even when he’d become a Hero in his own right. He’d always been ‘the bridesmaid and never the bride’ in people’s eyes. Not this time, not when there was a girl he finally wanted.
David had been All Might’s Sidekick first and had always been known as that. He had never become an actual Hero and he never would. But he had met her first and they had gotten close in the time they’d spent together. He’d be damned if he was second in this, when he’d been content to be the ‘bridesmaid’ to All Might’s ‘bride’.
Izuku had become close to these two men, but she hadn’t realized how close…or how close they’d actually wanted to be. She wasn’t a Hero yet, so the excess of Sidekicks wanting to be by her side was rather…daunting. She really wasn’t ready to be a bride just yet!
She’s never been the one that has admirers. She is always too shy and self-conscious. There is always the joke in their group that if any one of them would get married, Izuku is always going to be a bridesmaid and could be counted on. So David and Mirai has thrown her off and put her off-kilter.
