Summary
Rose, a diligent University student, stumbles across a piece of fiction that, unusually, holds many parallels to her own life, including her meeting of a particularly enigmatic and attractive doctoral student, John Smith. Her amusement with the written coincidences turns to fear, though, when she realizes the words written within the bound pages are more than mere fantasy.
