“You noticed,” Din says flatly, his eyes flicking from Cobb’s face to his hand and back again.
“Hard not to notice when you’re staring,” Cobb says, smiling to show he’s fine with it. “Nothing to be embarrassed about, darlin’.”
“I don’t want you to think -” Din says, his face a riot of emotions. Cobb places two fingers against his mouth to stop him.
“I like it,” he says, leaning in so he can speak directly into the shell of Din’s ear. “That you like this new part’a me this much.”
