“This is just a guess, but they don’t know that you’re gay?”
Kei flinched. Badly. Usually he was better at hiding his reactions to things but Hinata was so blunt and straightforward that he couldn’t help but react. Kei never referred to himself as– his brain got stuck if he even tried to think that he was– it just wasn’t something that he was.
“I’m not,” he tried to say but the words were thick in his throat, the lie was so obvious that no one observing him could possibly believe it. He wanted to will it into truth so badly.
