People usually assumed werewolves were territorial creatures.
And they were absolutely right. Enid was, in fact, a very territorial and jealous person. Part of it was her insecurity, and part of it were probably wolf instincts kicking in, but the end result was that she absolutely loathed anyone even looking at Wednesday for too long. It wasn't her fault, she was just wired that way.
Most of the time she could reel it back, at the beginning of their friendship all she had to do was focus enough to keep her fangs and claws in check, nothing too difficult. But ever since realizing her feelings towards the dark haired girl, Enid had gotten herself in her fair share of trouble.
It was stronger than her, all of her instincts told Enid to not let anyone anywhere near her... Friend.
(Enid's instincts also privately thought of her as something other than "friend", but she wouldn't voice such a thing and consolidate the thought even more in her mind.)
Which was why she had skipped class just to go into town and let that human boy that was getting a little too familiar with Wednesday know that he should keep his distance.
"One of these days you're gonna end up turning just because someone talked to her and I'm gonna have to be the one to keep you from committing murder." Yoko teased her, sitting down on one of the tables in the patio. "Can't you just like... Hump her leg to scent her and be content with it?"
"Yoko..." Enid growled in warning, cheeks red.
"Oh, right, she doesn't know you wanna hump her leg."
"Yoko."
"Though she has to suspect that you do, I mean, sooner or later she's gonna find out about our little chat with the human boy-"
"Shh!" Enid hissed, pushing her friend's leg and motioning with her head.
Wednesday was walking towards their table, a slight frown on her face.
"Oh, here comes your mat-"
"Yoko!" Enid bared her fangs, face flushed.
"Yes, I heard you the first two times," Yoko grinned, "She's human, she's still out of earshot, don't worry."
"Still! Just shut-" Enid trailed off as Wednesday finally reached them, "H- Hey, Wednesday!"
"You weren't in class." The young Addams spoke, ignoring the greeting. Her eyes shifted between Enid and Yoko, frown still in place.
"Yeah, mea culpa, I needed our sunshine's help with a little project in town," Yoko lied easily, unbothered with the hostile glare. Enid was beyond thankful for the cover up.
Enid was a jealous person. She hated seeing Wednesday with other people, hated seeing anyone near her, and hated whenever anyone would take liberties that weren't theirs to take. She would bare her fangs, growl, and show off her claws as a threat.
What Enid hadn't expected was for Wednesday's jealousy to be the same.
"Cara mia," Wednesday began, getting in between Enid and the table where Yoko was sitting. Gently, she cupped Enid's face, and the werewolf's brain melted. "You should have told me, I would have come with you."
"I- I didn't... I though-" Enid sputtered, what the hell was going on? Her heart was pounding, she had no idea what 'cara mia' meant, but she would have gladly spent the rest of her life hearing Wednesday say it.
"Moreover," Wednesday let her go, pulling a knife from seemingly nowhere and stabbing it onto the table right next to the vampire's leg. Her eyes glared holes into Yoko, "Enid isn't 'our' sunshine, she's mio sole."
Yoko stared in disbelief at the display in front of her. The vampire seemed unable to say anything in response and Enid could relate.
"Are we understood or do I need to be more clear about this?"
"She's all yours, Addams, don't worry." Yoko finally replied, amused.
Wednesday glared at her for another full minute before turning to Enid and roughly grabbing her by the neck to pull her down into a kiss. The werewolf's brain had been unresponsive up until that moment, but it finally kicked into gear as soon as their lips touched. Wrapping her hands on the smaller girl's waist, Enid eagerly kissed back.
She had no idea where Wednesday had learned to kiss like that, or why she was making such a show of biting down on her lip, but she sure as shit wasn't complaining.
When they finally separated, Wednesday spoke, eyes narrowed. "Sei mia, you're mine."
Enid nodded dumbly, still starstruck.
"You know... I'll probably have to stop you from turning and killing someone," Yoko snorted, shaking her head, "But you're gonna have to keep her from stabbing and killing someone, too."
Enid let out a small laugh, eyes still on Wednesday. "Guess an Addams is just as jealous as a werewolf."
"Oh, trust me, cara bella," Wednesday warned, a dangerous grin on her face. "We're much worse."
