Pietro’s POV
“You seem happy, Pietro.” Saad ni Rowan sa hapag. May himig na pangtutukso kaya kumunot ang noo ko sa kanya.
My family were having dinner and for once we were complete. Parehas na nandito ang mga nakakatanda kong kapatid maski si Papa ay nandito rin.
Papa is at the head of the table. To his right is Kuya Luigi, next to him is Kuya Rowan. To Papa’s left is Reese and then next to her is me.
“What do you mean?” wika ko pabalik sa kanya
“You got yourself a girlfriend! That’s why you seem so happy, baby bro. By the way you didn’t even tell me. Kay Kuya Luigi ko pa nalaman” banggit ni Rowan parang nagtatampo pa.
I rolled my eyes at him but I smirked thinking that I do have a girlfriend and it is Sage.
“Everyone knows. I assume you knew so I didn’t bother to tell. And you’re busy, my relationship would be a bother to you” sabi ko
“I didn’t know. Hindi nababanggit sakin ni Papa kapag tumatawag ako” balik nya
“Well, son, it is Pietro’s right to inform you. I don’t want to spoil the news for you. But Luigi seems to be excited to tell everyone” ani Papa habang umiinom ng wine.
“Masaya lang ako para kay Pietro” sabi ni Kuya Luigi habang kumakain
“Anyway be sure to use protection” singit ni Rowan
Nabulunan ako sa narinig ko. What the fuck Rowan?
“That’s none of your business” tangi kong nasabi
“What? I’m just concern” concern my ass. You just want to embarrass me.
Bago ko pa madugtungan ang mga sasabihin ay narinig ko na si Reese sa tabi ko.
“Protection for what?”
Rowan looks amused by Reese's statement. Kuya Luigi as well.
“It’s nothing Reese. Kuya Rowan should just shut up his mouth” at mariing ko pa ring tinitigan si Rowan. Nakita ko siyang nagpipigil na ng tawa.
Akala ko ay matitigil sa pagtatanong si Reese tungkol dun ngunit nagsalita ulit sya.
“You’re right Kuya Rowan. Kuya Pietro needed protection because Sage is bullying him” ani Reese
Sabay tumawa ng malakas sila Rowan at Kuya Luigi. Papa sighed exasperatedly at the two of them but I saw a hint of smile from him.
“Oh Reese, don’t bother the words of your Kuya Rowan.” sabi ni Papa kay Reese
Despite how embarrassing what Reese said makes me feel, I can't help but smile at the innocence of her words.
“Reese, Sage is not bullying me. She’s just teaching me some things. And call her Ate” sabi ko sa nakababatang kapatid
“No!” sabi na lang ni Reese at tumuloy na sa pagkain
“Anyway, Pietro, if you want some advice about that department just go to me” Rowan said insinuating the word department.
“No, thanks” I roll my eyes at him. He shouldn't have butted in my relationship.
Natapos naman ang dinner ng matiwasay. At nandito na ako sa kwarto at kausap ko si Sage sa video call. Pinag uusapan naming yung mga nangyari kanina sa dinner.
I see her fixing her bags for school tomorrow while I’m just sitting here at my computer desk.
“That’s funny. Ok lang naman sakin kung hindi ako tawagin na ate ni Reese. I think it’s too soon for her” paliwanag niya habang busy pa sya sa pag aayos.
“Yes I think so too” sabi ko lang. Naiisip ko na tatawagin naman nyang ate si Sage kapag mag asawa na kami.
I smiled at the thought. Although, it is still very early on our relationship pero naiisip ko na si Sage na talaga ang para sakin. I loved her. I really love her.
Hulog na hulog ka Pietro.
“Bakit ka nakangiti?” tanong ni Sage na nasa harapan na ng phone. Nakangiti na pala ako sa mga iniisip ko
“Nothing.” Sabi ko na lang
“Sus, nothing? Siguro iniisip mo yung sinabi ni Kuya Rowan no? Pro-tec-tion” sabi ni Sage. Tonong pang aasar na siya sakin.
"What? No! Di ko iniisip yan" sabi ko dahil totoo naman na wala sa isip ko yan ngayon.
Aaminin ko, minsan naiisip ko yung mga bagay na yun when we kiss. When we are so lost in our kisses. Pero hindi ako nagmamadali dahil bata pa kami. There are other things to prioritize. Our relationship is still young and needs careful tending.
Pero kung mangyari man iyon, I would like it if both of us consented to doing that.
I think my face is red when I'm thinking about it.
"O tingnan mo, namumula ka na. Iniisip mo kasi yun" natatawa niyang sinabi sa kabilang linya. "Yiie si bansot. You have dirty thoughts on me no?" Pangaasar pa nya.
"That's not dirty-"
"Aha, but you are thinking it. Huli ka na Pietro" singit niya habang tinuturo ako sa camera. Tumatawa siya at tila nasisiyahan dahil iniisip ko nga iyon.
Why is she so unaffected right now? Those things don’t bother her? Nagagawa niya pa akong asarin sa bagay na yan.
"Well, we will do that eventually" I counter to her banter.
"Ano?!" Ngayon naman ay namumula na siya. I love her embarrassed face. Her cheeks were so red and her lips were also red due to biting them.
Lost in the thought, I blurted out what my mind’s thinking.
"We'll do that eventually. You know, make love" inulit ang sinabi pero ang huling kataga ay sinabi ko nang mahina.
"Pietro!!" Sigaw nya sakin at hindi na makatingin ng diretso sa camera
"You're the one who brought it up" I smirked at her.
"Ugh, where's my innocent Pietro" yun na lang ang nasabi niya at umiwas nang tingin na namumula ang pisngi
"I'm still here" I replied to her. Tiningnan niya ako sa screen at tumango sa sinabi ko. Namumula pa rin siya.
“Anyway how’s your essay?” Pagwawala ko sa usapan dahil alam kong nahihiya na siya. Mabait ako ngayon. Sa susunod ko na lang siya aasarin.
We talked more about various topic at hindi na namin namalayan ang oras kakausap.
"Ibababa ko na ang tawag. Matulog na tayo" sabi niya ng humihikab na dahil alas onse na.
"Okay, good night. Matulog ka na agad" sabi ko habang pinagmamasdan ang kanyang antok na mukha.
So cute.
"Good night"
"I love you Sage" sabi ko ng walang alinlangan
"Hmm.. I love you Pietro" balik nya sakin. Tuwing naririnig ko ito, walang puwang na kasiyahan ang nararamdam ko.
"Ibaba ko na" sabi nya at nag flying kiss pa siya sakin habang tumatawa.
I also answered her with a flying kiss. We are so cheesy but that’s young love for you.
"Hmm. Bye. I love you. See you tomorrow"
