Summary
It was easy to spot a clueless tourist amongst the hustle and bustle of the early morning. They always stood out from the usual market crowd—bright-eyed and easily distracted, drifting from stall to stall in a haze of someone who looked at too many brightly colored things at once and is now seeing double.
There were many to choose from, so Aridan always took his time. He liked them willowy slim but with strong thighs and perky buttocks. Not too tall. He wasn’t particular about skin tone or hair color, but there had to be that something to their eyes, not just innocence but easily embarrassed meekness.
A clue that they’ll go along with his schemes.
