Work Text:
Griffin fell to the floor laughing. “Goodluck Billy!”
Upstairs a faint Voice could be heard yelling “When I said don’t fuck my brother what did you think I meant Showalter!?”
“These fuckers, I’ll be back.” Bruce sighs running up the stairs to stop Vance from murdering Billy.
“Guess it’s just us three now.” Robin chuckled.
Griffin got up from the floor walking over to Finney and Robin, he grabbed Finney’s hands, pulling him, then pulling Robin up. “Your turn.”
“What?”
“I’m not doing that.” Finney rolled his eyes.
“Pleaseee amor it seems fun.”
“Weren’t you calling it stupid earlier?”
“People change.”
“YES! Go go go.” Griffin smiled taking a seat on the chair that had been previously occupied by the touchy couple.
Finney shook his head, wrapping his arms around Robin’s neck. The Mexican boy quickly reciprocating the touch by placing his hands on Finney’s waist.
Robin looked Finney in the eyes, smiling. “When I was young, I fell in love. We used to hold hands, man that was enough.”
“But then we grew up.” Robin let his hand fall to Finn’s ass. Earning a glare from the younger boy as if to say, not now. “Started to touch” His other hand moving to lift Finney’s chin up slightly. “Used to kiss you underneath the light on the back of the bus.”
Robin’s hand dropped from Finney’s cheek and ass as he stepped back a bit rolling his eyes. “Oh no, your daddy didn’t like me much. And he didn’t believe me when I said you were the one.”
Robin turned his head to face Griffin. “Oh, everyday he found a way out of the window to sneak out late.” Turning back to Finney he continued singing. “He used to meet on the east side, in the city where the sun don’t set.” Finney walked towards Robin, grabbing his hand as his lover sang. “And everyday you know that we’d ride through the backstreets of a blue corvette.”
Robin spun Finney pulling him closer, placing his empty hand on the blonde’s lower back. “Baby, you know I just wanna leave tonight.” Finn placed a hand on Robin’s cheek. “We can go anywhere you want, drive down to the coast, jump in the seat. Just take my hand and come with me, yeah.”
Robin spun Finney again, this time dipping him. “We can do anything, if we put our minds to it. Take your whole life, then put a line through it.” The Mexican boy lifts his love placing a hand on his cheek. “My love is yours if you're willing to take it. Gimme your heart cause’ I ain’t gonna break it.”
Robin steps away dragging Finney’s hand along with him. “So come away, starting today. Start a new life together in a different place.” Finney smiles allowing himself to be pulled in by Robin. “We know that love is how these ideas came to be, so baby runa-way with me.”
Finney and Robin step away from each other. They both take a seat on either side of Griffin as the others enter the room. “What did we miss?”
Griffin quickly turned around facing Billy “Shhhhh.”
Finney turned to Griffin. ”Seventeen and we got a dream to have a family, a house and everything in between.” The lovers get up, now standing in front of the curly haired, strawberry blonde.
“Fuck not these idiots to”
“Shut up Vance, you know you love this sappy shit.” Bruce shoved him playfully.
Robin wraps his arms around Finney’s waist, resting his head in the crook of his neck. “Then suddenly, we turn 23, now we got pressure for taking our life more seriously.”
Finney looks away, holding onto Robin’s arms. “We got dead-end jobs and got bills to pay.”
“Half our old friends.” The dirty blonde gestures towards Bruce. “Now our enemies.”
Bruce flips him off before laughing.
“Now I, I’m thinking back to when I was young, back to the day when I was falling in love.”
“Okay I’m done.” Finney laughs letting Robin place light kisses on his neck while the music continued playing in the background.
“Hey! Keep it pg fuckers.” Bruce glared.
“Be nice Bruce.” Vance mocked.
“You're such an ass sometimes.”
“Yeah but you love me anyway.” Vance smiles.
Billy walked over to the lounge, falling onto Griffin. “Griffin, your brother tried to murder me.”
“Awww, you’ll be right.”
