Summary:
Steve gets to the table last, and there’s only one name tag left. SUGARPLUM, it reads in garish red and green. Steve groans.
“Robin, trade with me.”
“That’s Peppermint to you,” she says, “and sorry, but no.”
“Come on, Rob, please, I can’t be Sugarplum all season.”
“Sorry,” she says, with a falsely sympathetic grimace. “Shoulda gotten here faster, Sugarplum.”
“Sugarplum, huh?” says a deep voice from behind Steve. He turns, and it’s the long-haired guy he’d been staring at earlier. The guy looks Steve up and down, then smiles at him, and Steve’s a goner. He’d do anything to get this guy to look at him like that, smile at him like that, again. The guy raises an eyebrow and gives Steve a little shrug. “Suits you.”
Okay, Steve thinks, Sugarplum it is.
Steve and Robin get jobs at the mall as elves in Santa's Workshop, and Steve falls for a cute and flirty fellow elf.
