Summary
When Peter turned six years old, Tony sent his son away to a boarding school on the other side of the country. Then he promptly forgot about him for the next eight years.
After coming back from Afghanistan, all Tony wants to do is to become a good dad. But it seems to be impossible, what with his son being an independent almost adult that does not want a dad, and secrets that they are both trying to keep from each other.
Peter does not understand what Tony Stark wants from him. It was like the man wanted to play house. But for Peter, it was too late for that. He couldn’t go from being a dirty secret to playing the part of a loving son.
And anyway, he has more important things to think about, what with trying to hide his extracurricular activities, of the spidery flavor.
