Soap (Johnny) is a volunteer at the local public library, where he meets a mysterious (and not very friendly) guy who goes by the name of 'Ghost': Johnny is a boy of welcoming and gentle nature, although he's a bit clueless sometimes, and does not desist when faced with Ghost's hostility and harshness towards him.
Without neither of them noticing, Soap's cheerful ways will breach the walls Ghost has built around himself during all his life, daring him to face his utmost fears for the sake of his newfound precious friend.
