Summary
When rumors of a rare Omega blooming in the North reached the Red Keep, Robert Baratheon came to Winterfell a few years early.
Long had he had suspicions on the true parentage of the girl Ned had been raising as a baseborn daughter. If his suspicions proved correct and she a dragonwolf turned out to be, perhaps all was not lost to him – the future of his own Reign secured.
A possibility for his precious antlered lion son not to have to face a bloody succession crisis – as Robert knew the antlers bestowed upon him were false. His only child, Joffrey, only truly safe from vipers even now, because Robert kept him cloaked under his name and protection.
